Honor Flight Networkis a non-profit organization created solely to honor America's veterans for all their sacrifices. We transport our heroes to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials. Top priority is given to the senior veterans – World War II survivors, along with those other veterans who may be terminally ill.
"Before You Go" is offered as an expression of heartfelt gratitude to our aging veterans - those who fought and won the Second World War, fought in Korea to preserve that victory, and later in an unpopular war to stop post WWII communist aggressions in Vietnam. |

We can't begin to convey our thanks to the men and women who defend our country today and in recent wars.
In July 2012, I had the privilege to serve as a guardian with the Veterans Network Committee Honor Flight, which takes World War II veterans Washington, DC to visit the World War II Monuments. It was an honor to not only interview these veterans first hand, but view the monuments through the veteran's eyes. The sentimental journey is documented in the photo-gallery below.
